In
March, 1997, The On-Line Traffic School, Inc. was approved by
the Los Angeles Court system as the nation's first online traffic
school. This approval extended throughout the L.A. Court System,
the nation's largest. A nationally televised press conference
was held in Judges chambers announcing the new venture. The traffic
school on the internet concept was conceived to provide an alternative
to classroom traffic school for Los Angeles County drivers. Students
were given a listing of approved traffic schools in L.A., with
both in-class and our online versions offered. Attendance of
a classroom or online version would mask their moving violation.
No other online school was allowed to operate concurrently with
our company in Los Angeles until January, 1999.
Since
1997, over 2 million people have graduated from The On-Line Traffic
School, Inc. internet programs nationally in 29 states.
Successful completions of the courses typically remove points
from the driving record, or prevent the points from going on
in the first place.
